Liza Smith’s roots run deep in the Texas Hill Country. Her family has a long history in Gillespie and Mason counties, and she moved to Fredericksburg at age nine when her parents opened The Plateau Café on Main Street. She proudly considers herself a native of this beautiful region.
Liza’s drive and determination are inspired by her 3X great-grandmother, a pioneering woman from Solingen, Germany, who became the largest barbed-wire distributor and first female banker in Texas—a true trailblazer in the Hill Country.
Liza began her real estate career in 2004, practicing successfully for eight years before moving to Saudi Arabia in 2012. Upon returning to Fredericksburg, she reignited her passion for real estate and hasn’t looked back since. She has been part of the prestigious Millionaires Club every year since 2019 and achieved an impressive $25 million in sales in 2020 with Absolute Charm Real Estate Group.
